X-Rays
Dental X-rays (radiographs) are images of your teeth that your dentist uses to evaluate your oral health. These X-rays are used with low levels of radiation to capture images of the interior of your teeth and gums.
X-rays can show cavities, impacted wisdom teeth, and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination.
X-rays are a crucial diagnostic tool but should always be used responsibly! We use the minimum number of x-rays. If you’ve had x-rays taken in the last two years, we can have your x-rays transferred from your previous dental office , to minimize exposure to radiation.
